I like figuring out how things work, usually by building something, breaking it, and rebuilding it slightly better.
I'm a software engineer interested in the space between AI and systems engineering: the APIs, infrastructure, distributed workloads, deployment pipelines, and tooling that turn a model into an actual product.
That curiosity tends to escape work too. I run my own Kubernetes homelab, self-host more things than is probably reasonable, experiment with hardware and AI, and occasionally disappear into a completely unrelated technical rabbit hole.
When I'm away from the terminal, I'm usually making music, DJing, or pretending I'll eventually finish the backlog in my Steam library.
I don't really have a boundary between “software I need to build” and “software I want to understand.” That's usually where my projects start.
